KENTUCKY: The Wildcats have failed to gain more than 300 yards total offense in 10 of the last 12 games. Offensive coordinator Ron Hudson suddenly resigned Monday. OLE MISS: This is the 101st meeting between the teams in the Egg Bowl. Rumors are rampant that Coach David Cutcliffe or part of his staff could undergo a reshuffling after the game. The Rebels’ seven losses match the worst season since 1994 and a loss to State would mean the most losses since 1987. For the first time since 1997, the game will not be played on Thanksgiving.
